デリーから車で2時間ほど走るとDadriという小さな村があります。そこに当社の自社工場があります。16年前、そこで貧しいながらも、村に代々受け継がれている伝統手工芸で家計をさせている女性たちと出会いました。
彼女たちの伝統手工芸を取り入れたい
現地に何度も足を運んで地道に生産者との信頼関係を築き8年かけようやく、彼女たちの高く繊細な技術を活かしながらも日本の品質基準をクリアしたアクセサリーが誕生しました。
インドの伝統の刺繍やビーズワークを活かした繊細でオリジナリティに溢れるデザイン。
伝統を受け継いできた村々と協働し、ビジネスを通じて現地の女性たちの生活水準の向上にも貢献しています。
